The Craft Behind the 90th Anniversary Edition
This exquisite bourbon is crafted from Heaven Hill’s signature mashbill — 78% corn, 12% malted barley, and 10% rye — and bottled at a bold 107 proof. The blend combines 70% Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and 30% bourbon aged in heavy char barrels, creating a deeply layered flavor experience.
Each of the 204 barrels selected for this milestone release was filled on December 13, 2015, the distillery’s 80th anniversary, and aged for nine years and eight months in Rickhouses G and H, on the 4th and 6th floors. This careful aging process and the use of heavy “alligator char” barrels lend the whiskey remarkable depth and smoothness.
