Tasting profile

Vanilla, custard and pear sweetness meet malt, earthy smoke and charred oak. A coastal salty note balances the sweetness. As the series' bourbon-cask reference expression, 17.1 offers a useful comparison with the wine-cask influence of 17.2 and Islay barley character of 17.3.
