Elmer T. Lee 40th Anniversary Edition celebrates four decades of the namesake single-barrel bourbon with its first uncut and unfiltered release. Produced at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, this limited 2026 edition is bottled at natural barrel strength, with individual barrels ranging from 124.8 to 138.6 proof.
Tasting notes
Buffalo Trace describes apricot, almond, vanilla, toasted coconut and honeysuckle, followed by a rich palate with crème brûlée sweetness and a finish of toasted oak and baking spice. Each barrel brings its own variation in character.
