Experience the rugged soul of the Isle of Skye with Torabhaig Legacy Series Chapter 4: Sound of Sleat, the fourth release in the acclaimed Legacy Series from Torabhaig Distillery. Crafted with precision and passion, this limited-edition single malt captures the maritime character, smoky depth, and natural elegance that define modern Skye whisky.
Craftsmanship & Character:
Distilled from Concerto and Laureate malted barley peated to 78 ppm, and fermented for 72 hours with Pinnacle MG yeast, this whisky balances bold smoke with refined complexity. Matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon, refill bourbon, and charred American oak barrels, it embodies the distillery’s signature “Smoke with Taste” philosophy. Bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered, and of natural color, this release is a pure expression of place and craft.

About the Sound of Sleat:
Named after the narrow sea channel that separates Skye from mainland Scotland, this expression pays tribute to the island’s untamed spirit. Each sip evokes sea air, salt spray, and the gentle smoke of an island hearth — the very essence of the Highlands distilled into liquid form.
Bold yet balanced, Torabhaig Sound of Sleat stands as a benchmark for new-age Scotch — complex, coastal, and unmistakably Skye.
